One plan, many countries
Switch countries mid-trip without buying a new eSIM. Perfect for multi-stop itineraries.
Use one eSIM across every country in Europe without swapping SIMs or paying roaming fees.
Works across every covered country in Europe. Pick the amount of data you need.
A single Europe eSIM covers the Schengen area and most of the continent on one plan — cross from France into Italy into Croatia without swapping anything or thinking about roaming.
Where it's strong
Coverage across Western and Central Europe is excellent — 5G in every major city and reliable 4G on the high-speed rail lines between them.
Know before you go
For multi-country Europe specifically, Airalo's Eurolink has broader carrier-roaming agreements than most smaller brands (ours included), so it's worth comparing if your whole trip is a rail loop. Where a Travelren single-country plan often wins is a trip anchored on one country — a week in Italy or Spain — where the per-country price undercuts the regional plan.
Yes — a regional Europe eSIM works across the Schengen countries and most of the wider continent on a single plan, so you can move between France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Croatia and more without swapping SIMs or paying roaming. Check the specific plan's country list before you buy, as coverage of edge cases (parts of the Balkans, Turkey) varies by provider.
It depends on the trip. For a multi-country rail loop across several Schengen states, the regional plan is almost always cheaper and far less hassle than buying a SIM in each country. For a trip anchored on a single country — a week in Italy, say — a single-country eSIM often undercuts the regional plan on price. If most of your nights are in one place, price both.
Not always — the UK left the EU and isn't in Schengen, so some "Europe" regional plans include it and some don't. If your trip includes the UK, check the plan's country list specifically, or buy a dedicated UK eSIM for that leg.
Keep it in for calls and texts if your phone is dual-SIM — banks send 2FA codes to your home number, and it's a backup line. Turn its data roaming off so it never fires a charge, and run the eSIM for data. On a single-SIM phone you choose one or the other.
