Travel eSIM Price Index 2026

Real, current pricing across Travelren, Airalo, Holafly, Nomad, and Saily — not a marketing comparison. We sell eSIMs too, so take that as the disclosure it is; every number below is cited to where we found it, and we've included destinations and tiers where competitors beat us.

How this is built: each provider's own current pricing page, checked directly where possible. Prices appear in whichever currency the source displayed — we haven't converted everything into one currency, because doing that would mean injecting our own exchange-rate guess into numbers that are supposed to be exact. Convert at the current rate if you want a precise apples-to-apples figure. Holafly and (mostly) Saily sell unlimited-only plans in most markets — where a provider has no comparable capped-data tier, we say so rather than force a fake comparison. Last checked June–July 2026. Starting with two destinations; more added as we verify them, not all at once.

Travelren's cheapest capped plan for Japan (1GB/7 days) undercuts every provider we could directly compare. On 7-day unlimited, Travelren (US$18.66) is meaningfully cheaper than Holafly (US$27.50) — source currencies differ (see methodology above), so treat this as directional, not decimal-precise, until you convert at today's rate.

USA data is thinner than Japan's this pass — a couple of cells honestly couldn't be verified cleanly in the time spent, so they're marked rather than guessed. Will fill in on the next update rather than publish a number we're not sure of.

What's not here yet

This starts with two destinations, verified properly, instead of a thin pass across twenty. Thailand, the UK, Italy, and Indonesia are next.
